On February 26th, Decree-Law 31/2021 of “Animal Protection” was passed with much funfare. But its content still hadn’t been published, almost two months later. Activists, volunteers and animal defenders were left greatly disappointed after reading the text for the first time.
According to the rates tracked by El Toque on a daily basis (which are calculated by taking the average of figures found on buying and selling ads of foreign currency), the USD went up from an exchange rate of 72 pesos on January 1, 2022, to 100 pesos today.
“We are three Cuban-American founders, all living in Miami, with an interesting mix of entrepreneurs, educators and engineers,” explains Carlos Raul Garcia, an engineer in Computer Sciences and one of the project’s founders.
